Guidelines for Oral
GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATION
After receiving confirmation of abstract acceptance, presenters should prepare their PowerPoint presentation slides. Please carefully review and follow the guidelines below:
Time limit
Online presentation (Day 1) can be up to 10 minutes, followed by a 5-minute question and answer period for each presenter.
For physical presentation (Day 2) each presenter will be given 10 minutes and the question and answer will be at the end of each session. Keep your presentation within the allocated time frame to respect the audience and other presenters.
Presentation content
While there is no specific presentation template, presenters can use their preferred format. However, each presentation consists of the following slides:
Research title, authors, and affiliations
Introduction
Methodology
Results and Discussion
Conclusion and Recommendations
Acknowledgement
References
Oral presenters must prepare their slides using Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
Presentation slides should have large fonts and clear, legible typefaces to ensure audience readability. Any video, sound effects, or animations should be tested before the scheduled presentation.
Oral presenters must upload their presentation slides to the following Google Drive folder by August 10, 2024: Google Drive link will be shared in Letter of Acceptance. Please note: This link will only be active until 11:59 PM (Malaysia time) on August 10, 2024. Please name your files in the following format: Domain Full Name Family Name_IFSC2024.
Student-category oral presenters are eligible to participate in the oral presentation competition. The session serves to recognize and reward the research and achievements of outstanding students.
